Just like them. Robertson screws and screwdrivers. NIH. (not invented here) USA does not acknowledge invented in Canada so renamed them square drive screws and screwdrivers.
I love when people take things like this seriously. Whoever made it up didn’t even utilize proper grammar. I’ll be the better person by not taking an easy swipe at Melissa, but I will explain it to you. It’s a big joke. Nobody takes it seriously. You shouldn’t either. Enjoy your rage.

Yep, heard that. It wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t change course either.

Now explain to me again why Americans make fun of Canadians… oh that’s right, so Americans can cover their own stupid faults.

I’ve seen this story elsewhere, in different form. More than likely an urban myth.

That’s a great conversation. I’m in the United States Military so I can relate to it!

even though its an exaggeration its a good caricature!

It’s not an exaggeration, it’s fiction.
Still, it is funny. But not as funny as the fools who think it’s real and use it to feel all superior to those stupid Americans. Now they’re funny!

Canadians: This is a LIGHTHOUSE. Your call!
Americans: CRASH!
LOL! The Americans didn’t heed that it WAS a lighthouse.
OR:
Americans get scared and try to turn the ships around. Unknown if they had enough space in the water to turn around safely. So, maybe “CRASH!” anyway.
The US President gets rather ill after finding out about this accident.
